Ramola Bachchan at Olive Beach celebrated La Fête, a wholly dedicated French food festival on 1st June. The launch dinner was well attended by the crème de la crème of Delhi like Kalyani Saha, Vikram and Meeta Madhok, Reynu and Sunil Tandon, Nida Mahmood, Raul Chandra, Nitin Chauhan, Naseer Abdullah, Shahid & Ghazala Malik . The French embassy Cultural attache Max Claudet  along with Aruna Adiceam and Nitin Chauhan of French embassy cultural dept attended the evening.

Chef Saby laid an interesting ala carte menu for the evening for guests. There was Artichoke, rocket and pear salad with cumin vinaigrette and chevre croute, French cheese raclette and Exotic vegetables or chicken sausage or parma ham and baby potatoes to start with. In soup section, Classic French onion soup with thyme and giant gruyere crostini for veg and Cream of chicken soup for non-veg. In the main course one can choose from a wide variety of veg and non-veg options. Few highlights are Exotic vegetable filo pie with braised fennel cream, Portobello mushroom with truffle butter and saffron risotto, Spaghetti with chefs signature ratatouille or Grilled Australian sirloin steak, rossini with foie gras, organic egg. In between the meals complimentary Pink Champagne Sorbet and Grand Marnier sorbet was served. The best part of the meal was that there was an option for whole wheat flour pizza and pasta. The mouthwatering desserts for the evening includes Apple tart tartine with vanilla bean ice-cream ( eggless), Crepe suzette with fruit compote and chantilly cream and Chocolate fondant with homemade ice-cream
